| The quality of the basic Jackson guitar is far better than it's major competitor, Ibanez. Ibanez being totally Japanese built and owned has a large financial advantage over Jackson. Ibanez was able to buy up all the 80's Rock Guitar Gods. Of course for this reason Ibanez has been perceived as a high quality guitar. Personally I feel that Jackson guitars have always been better designed and better made. There is absolutely no comparison between the two brands. Ibanez of course will always outsell Jackson but that fact still does not make them a better guitar. Gee I think I remember Steve Vai playing a Charvel in the movie Crossroads. |
